We’re thrilled to finally share our exciting news: Vets for Pets Isle of Man has chosen to sponsor SARDA by providing veterinary care for our amazing search dogs! 🐾💙

Dog welfare is the secondary aim of our charity and the first place this starts with is maintaining a healthy dog. Thanks to the support of Vets4pets, SARDA IOM have access to first class veterinary care and we thank them massively for their support.

SARDA IOM would like to thank Tesco’s “Bags of Help scheme” for their support with the purchasing of safety equipment. When people shop at Tesco they are given a blue chip to vote for their preferred charity to receive funding. SARDA IOM would like to thank all the customers at the Douglas Store for supporting our charity who won the vote and were awarded £4000 for safety equipment. This included the latest navigational equipment, first aid kits and safety gear for both the people who hide for the dogs in all weathers and the handlers/navigators. So far this year (Aug 2019) we have attended the greatest number of call outs ever (24 so far) and the support Tesco has given has helped significantly in keeping the team safe.

Pokerstars (helping hands)  agreed to sponsor Ruby May for her first two years of intensive training. This Provided funds for insurance, travel, training and equipment.  A massive big thanks for Pokerstars for their support and the naming of the new pup.
